~ Washing Day ~

 

Major and minor malls have afflicted me,

Frightening for those to see,

They think you’re going to die,

Take your chance; it’s time to do the washing,

Put me in the bath,

Throw the cloths and detergent in,

You will get in to two cycles,

Whilst you’re in a spin,

When the cycles are complete,

Bring the washing out,

Set me up, it’s time now to do the ironing,

When I wake and ask were I have been,

You can all then say with glee,

We have all done the washing with thee.
