~ Karl and Railway Trains ~

Karl is only three, wonders playfully,

When it rains outside, with dad plays trains,

Signals, points and a railway crossing,

Two big loops and a goods siding too,

Green Percy hooks up troublesome trucks,

Milk tank, and two timber brown wagons,

Thomas the tank now he is shiny blue,

He pulls Clarabelle and Annabelle too,

The signalman knows what to do,

Freight train whistles quickly round,

Passengers trundle, safe and sound,

As does Karl feeling care all round,

When he gets tired and wants to sleep,

Its time to pack up the railway and stop.
