~ Thy Name is Cox ~

Cox thy name, coxswain be gentlewoman,

In calm waters, good navigation planned,

Weather worsens; hurricanes are near at hand,

Change the plot; steer around storms is our plea,

Tiller direct oblivious ship sighs in high seas,

Tall mast creaks and cracks, the sail begins to fall,

Bow heart breaks upon submerged hidden rocks,

Shipwrecked crew on deserted foreign shores,

Collecting flotsam and jetsam from the beach,

We build a stronger ship, with good wind sail,

When we reach safe harbour, I will then forgive,

As had I not chosen thee to chart the seven seas,

But if I see thee down the coast, what will I say to thee?

“Cox changes thy name, for ‘Siren’ you are to me.
