Let us talk of the now, and talk not of the futures past,

Let it lie among the midst and in the dust of time,

Let us draw a line in the beach in the sands of life,

Let us walk hands clasped across this sacred line,

Let us speak without words; light beams will then prevail,

Let our thoughts converse with a clear and open smile,

Let our spirits laugh and dance within the raging foam,

Let us play hide and seek, and challenge the wild sea,

Let us fall within warm waves, and swim beyond the beach,

Let the minstrels pluck up and play their merry tune,

Let us gorge on food and drink till we are content,

Let us lie and count the sparkling wondrous firmament,

Let us forget everything; Earth, Moon, and stars,

Let no one deny our chance, happiness and a life of peace.
