~ The Tigress of Raynes Park ~

From the Wirral, did you spring,

A tigress in the morning light,

Smiling, laughing such joy you bring,

Brown eyes, burning and so bright!

Purple claws; walks in the moonlight,

Ever barefoot and nymph-like,

Hair changing, shimmering in the sunlight,

Your children forever your delight,

Jack and Ben your sons belong,

Nila the artist, whispers along,

Pictures, theatre you are known to bring,

Two round stones and an amber ring,

You travel now in grey speeding car,

For you now dwell in Raynes Park.
